Motorcycle MOTs Class 1 & Class II

When do you need to get your bike MOT tested?

Every motorcycle must get an MOT test every year once your bike is 3 years old. You can then renew your MOT up to a month before it expires. The earliest date you can get your bike tested and carry forward the remaining time is printed on the pass certificate.

Our VOSA qualified mechanics have over 20 years experience of motorcycle MOT testing which ensures we make a fair and honest appraisal of your bike as well as the ability to spot any issues with the motorcycle before they develop into something more serious.

The annual motorcycle MOT test is a thorough check of all the components which are essential to keep your bike roadworthy. If your motorcycle fails this MOT checklist it is usually because it would be unsafe for you or other road users if the bike were ridden on public roads.

The current rate for a Motorcycle MOT is £29.65

Can’t remember when your MOT is due? Here’s a handy link to the DVLA MOT page where you can see your expiry date and when your tax runs out.

There is now a link available to request MOT reminders either as a text to your mobile or as an email from VOSA. How useful is that?

It’s also now possible to replace a mislaid or damaged MOT certificate on the DVLA Website.
