New Versys 1000 along with its top spec SE model are the Kawasaki flagship adventure tourer. As such Kawasaki has equipped vast majority of the tech under their belt on it. With refinements to the engine, added electronic throttle valves, new Bosh inertial measurement unit allowed for a massive amount of new electronic rider assists and features to be added as standard to the new bike. Furthermore, the Versys 1000 receives new styling, centered around the rider but with sharp Kawasaki lines, with aggressive H2 inspired nose, housing two LED headlamps.

Sharp Kawasaki design

Main concern when designing the new Versys 1000 was comfort to the rider and passenger. Ergonomics, sitting position, wind protection and the seat shape are all focused to maximise comfort on the globe trotting expeditions this bike is built for. On the other hand, the sharp Ninja H2 inspired styling hint at the more naughty side of the bike.

The 1,043 cc In-line Four used in the superb Kawasaki Z1000 and Z1000SX ranges, tuned for flexibility returns in the new Versys 1000. Superb throttle response and strong torque at all rpm (especially in the low-mid range) old model was known for is even better on the new Versys 1000 thanks to electronic throttle valves. Such technology also enabled for the addition of cruise control as standard, making long trips even more comfortable.Kawasaki Quickshifter is available as an optional extra for the standard model.

With Personal Contract Purchase (PCP), once you have paid all of the regular monthly payments you have the option to
(1) Return the vehicle and not pay the Optional Final Payment. If the vehicle has exceeded the maximum agreed mileage, a charge per excess mile will apply of 6.0 + VAT pence per mile. If the vehicle is in good condition (fair wear and tear accepted) and has not exceeded the maximum agreed mileage you will have nothing further to pay;
(2) Pay the Optional Final Payment to own the vehicle or;
(3) Part exchange the vehicle subject to settlement of your existing credit agreement; new credit agreements are subject to status.

Warranty Plus, for 2024 is included with all new Kawasaki motorcycles. Meaning they come with a 4 year warranty included.
This warranty extension covers the whole bike for an additional two years (excluding wear and tear parts, aesthetic defects, accessories or battery).
Both warranty and extension are covered Europe wide.
The warranty stays with the bike when sold or transferred thus adding to residual value.

With Warranty Plus warranty extension, your bike is entirely covered for manufacturing defects.
Warranty Plus warranty extension includes all features in line with the standard manufacturer warranty.
However, it does not include:
a) Malfunctions owing to improper maintenance, repair or lack of care for the bike (we remind you that the official Kawasaki maintenance plan must be respected for the standard or extended warranty to be valid).
b) Components subject to wear or deterioration as a result of the normal operation of the bike (for example: tyres, filters, lights, final drive, belts, flexible controls, spark plugs, friction components including the clutch and brake pads and discs).
c) Aesthetic damage to painted or chromed surfaces, also as a result of oxidation or atmospheric agents owing to environmental conditions or exceptional circumstances, or to irregular or incorrect washing of the bike.
d) Installation of components/accessories and modifications to the bike that are not approved by Kawasaki.
e) The bike’s battery.
f) Bikes used in any kind of sporting competition.
g) Bikes used for commercial or rental services.
