Champions Choice

5 WorldSBK championship titles in a row cement the reputation of the ZX10R.

Based on the KRT race machine that has been amassing record after record in the Superbike World Championship, Kawasaki’s trio of litre-class supersport models allow a wide range of riders to experience the thrill of exploring their limits on the circuit. Engine improvements offer increased power, with an even wider powerband – both advantages that that will further increase their race-winning potential. This is as close as it gets to being part of the official Kawasaki World Superbike team. Ninja ZX-10R Get Closer.

Breathtaking Racing Technology

Unstoppable Ninja

Although chassis remains relatively unchanged which would seem sensible considering the huge success that this bike has had at racing levels, the Kawasaki ZX10R has seen enormous changes brought directly from the racing development. The most noticeable is the first introduction of Showa’s “Balance Free Forks” – this is a first for the utilisation of these race level forks on a mass production motorcycle.

Function followed by form

No compromise on performance.

The latest generation Ninja ZX10R was built upon decades of experience in Superbike manufacturing. Sculpted with the extensive use of wind tunnel testing and computer design. This machine is a pinnacle of the decades of Ninja development. From the instantly recognisable bodywork to a large RAM air scoop on the front, racing DNA oozes from this bike. Sharp lines are accentuated through stunning KRT Livery, which further highlights the bikes racing pedigree.

Beating Heart of the Ninja

Powerful track weapon, sophisticated and easy to ride on the road.

At the centre of the ZX10R design was its 999cc inline four engine. All-new in 2011, the Ninja ZX-10R’s engine balanced stunning power with manageability, and facilitated getting back on the gas by moving peak torque higher up in the rpm range. The new engine maintains this essential character, but offers a stronger low-mid range for increased acceleration coming out of corners. It is also a cleaner powerplant meeting the stringent Euro 4 emissions regulations.
