Subtle changes for 2025 mean that ease of riding is improved through small chassis modifications. In the case of the “S” version of Multistrada V4, the chassis can automatically drop in height as the bike slows to a stop, allowing the rider to get a sure footing when static. This version also benefits from bump detection that instantly softens the rear suspension when the front has detected a bump in the riding surface.
Production of the Multistrada V4 is underway at the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale: the first motorcycle (in the case of the V4 S) to use front and rear radar technology. An all new V4 powerplant designed for the Multistrada. This 4th generation Multistrada V4 marks an epochal turning point for the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer.
With a seat height from 810mm with the use of a “Low Seat” accessory option (That still has 50mm of foam) to 875mm using a high seat. Please Note – The Multistrada V4 S over and above the base V4 model comes as standard with auto levelling and auto lowering (when slowing to a halt) Skyhook suspension, 33omm discs with Stylema Brembo calipers, a 6.5 inch TFT full colour dashboard with “Ducati Connect”, cornering full LED headlights that have been upgraded or 2025, hands free ignition system, vehicle hold control (hill start assist), cruise conrol and DQS (quick shifter) Up and Down. These items cannot be added retrospectively to the Standard Multistrada V4.
Now with a 22 litre fuel tank, and with the 6% economy improvements made for 2025, you really can be ready to do the distance!!

For the fourth generation of the Multistrada, Ducati has developed a new, light and compact V4 engine, designed to meet the needs required for “adventouring” use without neglecting emotion and sportiness.
The complete redesign made it possible to reach record-breaking maintenance intervals for the world of two wheels. Valve clearance intervals have been increased to 36,000 miles (One and a half times around the world) and oil change intervals are now 9,000 or every two years. Add to this the 4 year, Europe wide unlimited mileage warranty to give you the knowledge that this bike is truly built to do the distance.
The all new V4 Granturismo engine is both smaller and lighter than the previous L-twin 1260 Multistrada engine – 85mm shorter, 95mm height reduction with only 20mm increase in width (weight loss 1.2kg). This has meant that the compact layout allows more flexibility of the housing of the engine in the frame, more effectively and centrally to positively influence the position of the bike’s center of gravity. Add to this the proven benefits of the counter clockwise rotation of the crankshaft that works to negate the centrifugal forces of the wheels, aiding fast directional changes as well as reducing squat and helping to reduce front wheel lift.
The benefits offered by this all new engine plant are enormous. Not only in the vastly improved power delivery, but in chassis agility and not least the ongoing cost of maintenance – All delivered with 4 years peace of mind.

The new Multistrada V4 has been engineered for maximum riding comfort. Aerodynamics, engine delivery and optimization of the characteristics of the frame combine to achieve excellent values in the field of NVH (Noise and Vibration Harshness).
Saddle, seat profile and leg room have been designed to put any rider at ease. Not all motorcyclists are the same, and when riding a Multistrada it is important to make the experience of every rider comfortable on all types of roads.
The passenger seat padding has been improved to maximise comfort. First of all has been widened and equipped with more comfortable handles and more leg room, but it is also made thicker (+ 25 mm) and longer (+40 mm).

Ducati Corse’s innovative aerodynamics research has been harnessed to allow for the most comfortable travel experience.
The aerodynamic control allows to minimize the exposure to the front air and to divert hot flows away from the rider, ensuring the most complete protection and comfort.
So simple, yet so advanced. The windscreen is equipped with side deflectors for maximum protection. An ergonomic system adjustable in height simply with a finger (patent pending).
The internal aerodynamic bypass (02B) helps to create a jet of fresh air capable of diverting the flow of hot air exiting the radiators around the rider to improve thermal comfort. The external one (02A) draws air from the front of the vehicle to cool the rider’s seat area.
