Ducati Panigale V4 R 2025
The Sound Of Excellence
The new Ducati Panigale V4 R is a true race bike for the road. Homologated for Ducati's world superbike efforts in the 2023/24 seasons. 234 bhp and only 167Kg with the highlevel race exhaust.

240.5 hp - 16.500 rpm - This is Racing
The closest production model to a competition bike ever.
The design remit? – Make it as fast as you can, and handle better than ever before. – Looks like those boxes got well and truly ticked. All of this, and yet the Ducati Panigale V4R looks like a piece of art!!
The new Panigale V4 R embodies the maximum expression of Ducati values: style, sophistication, performance.
It is the maximum expression of Ducati’s racing DNA, similar to a racing prototype as no other bike: a forward-looking model that accompanies the rider towards a dimension of advanced riding, made up of curves and straights that run incredibly fast, thanks to the electronics that, like an invisible, magical safety net, allow going beyond the limits.
It is designed to ensure a symphony of emotions, thanks to the new concept of performance: not only acceleration, braking ability and best lap times, but also safety and ease of riding, whatever the level of experience. In short, pure racing adrenalin but under control.
The new Panigale V4 R is a racing bike type-approved for road use and is the technical starting point from which the official Ducati Superbike models that will compete starting from 2023 racing season derive.
The launch of the Panigale V4 R was originally due to happen in 2022, however, Ducati were still not happy with the results that they had in mind for this racing thoroughbred. Launch was therefore delayed by a year. And in our humble opinion – It was well worth the wait!!
The Front Frame of the new Panigale V4R, developed in collaboration with the engineers of Ducati Corse, is optimised for racing use with fully mechanical Öhlins steering damper and suspensions, including the new pressurised front fork and the swinging arm with a four-way adjustable pin.
Nothing exists without function!!
Ducati presents the new Panigale V4 R: the bike that adopts technical solutions previously reserved for MotoGP and WorldSBK Championship. This is the envy of other manufacturers. The Ducati Corse Department not only goes racing, but also develops the road bikes.
Top performance
Red line of the rev counter at 16,000 rpm (16,500 rpm in sixth gear)
The Desmosedici Stradale R is a more responsive engine that is allowed to reach the red area of the rev counter at 16,000 rpm (16,500 rpm in sixth gear). This ensures a greater sprint and top speed. This results in 221 HP (162 kW) that react immediately to the throttle inputs , delivered at 15,250 rpm, 2,250 extra rpm with respect to the V4 of 1,103 cc.
Impressive figures for a 998 cc engine, that become even more amazing by fitting the full-racing exhaust Ducati Performance by Akrapovič, bringing the maximum power to 234 HP (174 kW) at 15,500 rpm.
Improved track-feeling
Man & Machine As One
To increase nimbleness, rider feeling and grip, the chassis follows the evolutionary direction traced by the Panigale V4/V4 S with the 2022 model, while maintaining fully mechanical suspension adjustment.
At the front, the Öhlins NPX25/30 pressurized fork increases its travel by 5 mm compared to the previous “R”. This technical solution, combined with an Öhlins TTX36 shock absorber and a standard adjustment of the swingarm pivot to the +1 position, increases the rear height by 20 mm. In this way, a higher centre of gravity is achieved and therefore greater nimbleness in corner entry and changes of direction.
Smaller - Lighter
Less Resistance
The aerodynamic package has been revised with a view to greater efficiency: the new two-element wings (main + flap) guarantee the same aerodynamic load, but are more compact and thinner (respectively by 40% and 50%).
Race-Oriented Electronics
Dependable, Functional Develpoment
The greater effectiveness of the new Panigale V4 R in circuit use is also obtained thanks to the adoption of all the electronic evolutions already introduced on the Panigale V4 ’22 and ’23, with the expansion and evolution of the Power Modes, new “Track Evo” display on the dashboard, engine maps with calibration dedicated to each single gear, refinements to the Ducati Traction Control and the Ride By Wire system, but also the adoption of the Engine Brake Control EVO 2 strategy, the new strategy for the DQS and the cooling fan control update.
