The beating heart of the bike is the 649cc motor. The noise of a 90 degree crank, twin cylinder, dual overhead cam, four stroke Kawasaki engine is unmistakable to all enthusiasts of motorcycling. Tried, tested and loved by many powerplant is at the centre of the bike design. Increased mid-range performance comes from redesigned exhaust which allows the bike to pass through the rigorous Euro5 emissions limits. Making for smoother and more usable power delivery.

Kawasaki’s advanced traction control system provides both enhanced sport riding performance and the peace of mind under certain conditions to negotiate low-traction surfaces with confidence. Two modes allow riders to adjust settings to suit the riding situation and rider preference. Riders may also elect to turn the system OFF. For 35 kW kit models, KTRC offers one mode (plus OFF).
