After the huge success of the H2 project, Kawasaki engineers set upon utilising the supercharged platform in other branches of Kawasaki motorcycles. First they have adapted it to a H2 SX to make one of the best sports touring bikes ever. The next logical step was to make a large capacity streetfighter, a segment where Kawasaki was seemingly absent for some time. Kawasaki Z H2 is just that, intended to shake up the norms and set new standards in an increasingly competitive market. The Kawasaki Z H2 SE is an even more refined version that offers an even more comfortable and sure footed ride, thanks to the introduction of the Showa Skyhook semi-active suspension. It’s stopping power is also aided with the use of the world class Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers. Cruise control and Up & Down Quickshifter are standard features on this flagship model.
The world-beating litre engine of the Kawasaki Z H2 SE is boosted beyond belief with supercharger technology from the unrivalled H2. The timeless Sugomi style exudes Kawasaki DNA, elegant colour details, full TFT screen and a chrome air intake combine tradition of the Z with the technology of the H2. Supercharge your life. The Z brand has a rich history that stretches back almost 50 years. Now with the arrival of the Supernaked Z H2 with its supercharged engine, the second chapter of Z history is about to begin. A distillation of the vast technology possessed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. The innovative Z H2 is a motorcycle worthy of the title “ultimate”. This new flagship model will lead the Z Series into the future.
At the heart of the design of the Kawasaki Z H2 SE was the goal of making the most powerful, hardest accelerating and most radical naked bike ever attempted by Kawasaki. The aim was to combine the technological excellence of the H2 platform with the famous Sugomi design to create a sense of visceral, raw feeling of unprecedented power. Design is unapologetic and animalistic, highlighting the aggressive stance and sharp lines of Kawasaki Z H2. The full colour TFT dash is not only clear and easy to read, but also offers communication between your smart phone and the bike using Kawasaki’s Rideology App, where bike settings can be adjusted. Previous journeys can be reviwed, fuel consumption figures are recorded among many other very useful features.
Boost your emotions beyond limits, supercharge your journey with the most powerful Z ever: Kawasaki Z H2 SE.
No Compromises Necessary
Unbelievable supercharged performance.
The centerpiece of the design of the Kawasaki Z H2 SE is the engine. The bodywork is designed in such a way that the engine is as visible as possible. And for good reason, the famous Kawasaki Supercharged 998cc powerplant is a feast for the senses to all those who appreciate mechanical excellence. The engine itself is a masterpiece, perfectly smooth, responsive, economical engine which easily passes the Euro 5 emission regulations. Open the throttle however and you will unleash the 197 horsepower and 137nm of world bending torque. Peak power achieved at 11000RPM and peak torque available at as little as 8500 RPM. It is difficult to appreciate the performance looking at the numbers alone. To put it in perspective, that is the same power as the mighty ZX10R and 22nm of torque more but available at 3000RPM less!
Skyhook technology
KECS
KECS, Kawasaki’s semi-active electronic suspension system, adapts to road and riding conditions in real time, providing the ideal amount of damping called for. Combining high-level mechanical components with the latest electronic control technology, KECS offers both the suppleness to offer riding comfort in a wide range of riding situations, as well as the firm damping to facilitate sport riding. The tyres feel planted, delivering confidence when cornering. In Rain Mode, Showa’s Skyhook EERA (Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment) technology offers an even more composed ride.
Harness of the beast
Tackle any situation
Able to harness the full power of the supercharged engine, the Z H2’s specially designed frame offers a combination of high-speed stability and light handing that facilitates control when riding in the city or on twisty roads – seemingly contrary characteristics. The compact frame, an ideal basis for the form of a naked model, has a high-level balance of stiffness and flexibility, allowing a wide range of riding situations to be tackled.
Dog-ring transmission
Incredible shifting capability
At engine speeds (rpm) above 2,500 min-1, KQS enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts. Complementing the powerful engine and dog-ring transmission, the quick shifter is a convenient feature that can be used not only for sports riding but also for city riding and touring. It enables quick upshifts and downshifts, facilitating smooth acceleration and deceleration.
Truly sugomi
Predatory stance
The styling of the Z Series flagship Z H2 was shaped according to its SUGOMI & Minimalist design concept. Its dynamic crouching form, which calls to mind a predator poised to attack, and the asymmetric Ram Air intake on its left side are elements of its fiercely intense and highly individualistic SUGOMI design. Its compact chassis is the product of a minimalist design philosophy, with all functional parts shown simply, without flourish, and made as small as possible. Conversely, the prominent display of the new steel trellis frame its aluminium pivot plate only underscores their importance – both functionally and as styling elements. Finally, when discussing the Z H2’s styling, the significance of the Kawasaki River Mark emblem displayed on the headlamp cowl should not be forgotten. Its use, an honour permitted only for machines powered by supercharged engines, confirms the Z H2 as a flagship model.
