The Ducati Factory Warranty Extension
As standard, all Ducati motorcycles come with a 2 year unlimited mileage, European wide warranty. Also included is 2 years roadside assistance. The exception to this is DesertX and Multistrada as all versions now come as standard with 4 years warranty and 2 years roadside assist.
Ever Red is only available to be purchased at time of first registration of a new Ducati motorcycle.
This warranty extension covers the whole bike for an additional one or two years and has unlimited mileage limitation. (excluding wear and tear parts, aesthetic defects, accessories or battery).
Roadside assistance is also extended for the duration of the extension period selected.
Both warranty and extension are covered Europe wide.
The warranty stays with the bike when sold or transferred thus adding to residual value.
Prices valid from 01/01/2024 and are inclusive of VAT.
N.B. All versions of Multistrada and DesertX come with a 4 year warranty included.
Terms and ConditionsWith Ever Red warranty extension, your bike is entirely covered for manufacturing defects.
Ever Red warranty extension includes all features in line with the standard manufacturer warranty.
However, it does not include:
a) Malfunctions owing to improper maintenance, repair or lack of care for the bike (we remind you that the official Ducati maintenance plan must be respected for the standard or extended warranty to be valid).
b) Components subject to wear or deterioration as a result of the normal operation of the bike (for example: tyres, filters, lights, final drive, belts, flexible controls, spark plugs, friction components including the clutch and brake pads and discs).
c) Aesthetic damage to painted or chromed surfaces, also as a result of oxidation or atmospheric agents owing to environmental conditions or exceptional circumstances, or to irregular or incorrect washing of the bike.
d) Installation of components/accessories and modifications to the bike that are not approved by Ducati.
e) The bike’s battery.
f) Bikes used in any kind of sporting competition.
g) Bikes used for commercial or rental services.

Ducati really wanted to broaden its audience for the DesertX. Seat height starts at 875mm but can be reduced with either a lower seat option or a suspension lowering kit or even a combination of both which are available as accessory options. The narrow seat and bodywork ensure that these seat heights translate into real benefits for the rider.
The Ducati DesertX Discovery offers an upright riding position with considerably more leg room for added comfort and maneuverability when riding out of the seat. The steering angle makes low speed maneuvering a doddle.
The electronic package can be extended with the addition of the Ducati Multimedia system that allows Bluetooth pairing to your smartphone, allowing for calls, notifications, music management and for the addition of turn by turn sat nav guidance. All lights / indicators are Full LED.
The volumes, silhouette, tank and headlight characterise the design of the original Cagiva Elephant and remain true to the original lines of the bike born over 3 decades ago, while revisiting them with a modern flair.
The 21 litre tank offers exceptional range, however there is scope to add an additional 8 litre tank (which is another accessory item that is available) to ensure that the Ducati DesertX Discovery can explore the areas that others can only dream of.

Fluid delivery, full and increased torque curve
Thanks to high maximum power and torque values, fluid delivery and a full torque curve at all speeds, the new DesertX’s Watercooled Testastretta 11° engine can guarantee performance and agility to the rider. 110 bhp, with 68 ft lb of torque, this powerplant oozes versatility.
Maintenance intervals – 9000 miles or bi-annual for oil service, 18,000 miles for valve clearance service. “Adventurous” intervals………

Designed for comfort
Much research went into the off-road capabilities and rider comfort under these arduous conditions. The surfaces in contact with the rider are large and well connected.
This allows rider movement in all directions with the highest level of comfort and control, especially in off-road riding.
The Whole Safety Pack
The versatility of the DesertX is also reflected in its Riding Modes. It has 6 modes, 2 of which are specifically dedicated to the off-road riding experience: Enduro and the brand new Rally Mode, in addition to the Sport, Touring, Urban e Wet modes.
The electronic equipment is completed by a package of rider assistance systems: Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, Cornering ABS, Quickshifter Up & Down and Cruise Control, to make long distance riding even more relaxing.

Generous ground clearance 250 mm
DesertX Discovery is equipped with the iconic wheel combination for the enduro segment: spoked wheels, 21” at the front and 18” at the rear. Ready to easily tackle any type of obstacle and asphalt.
A fundamental feature for off-road use, DesertX Discovery has a ground clearance of 250 mm, which is particularly favorable for more extreme off-road riding.
Kayaba long stroke suspension – The 46mm upside-down fork and fully adjustable single shock absorber were developed with the Japanese brand Kayaba, a successful producer in the off-road world.
Top & Tail
The bike’s completely Full LED lighting system is ocutting edge. The double front headlight has two bi-function polyellipsoidal modules with Daytime Running Light (DRL) and has been designed to ensure excellent visibility, which is particularly important for a bike that can ride in all conditions. The tail light is equipped with the Ducati Brake Light system. In the event of emergency braking, it automatically flashes to signal the condition of sudden slowing to following vehicles, making a further contribution to rider safety.
