The Ultimate Formula
Ultra Light
The top-of-the-range model in the Streetfighter family is the new Streetfighter V4 SP2 in a numbered version. A bike ready to take to the track, thanks to exclusive technical equipment that combines the “Fight Formula” with “SP” specifications, making it even more effective in sporty riding and particularly on the circuit.
The underlying concept of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 was to produce a bike that magnifies the thrill of the ride every time it takes to the road. The result? An unrivalled naked bristling with cutting-edge technology and an awe-inspiring design that oozes pure performance. The minimalist full-LED headlight captures the spirit of the Streetfighter V4 S perfectly. On the one hand, it recalls the front of the Panigale V4 and, on the other, evokes the crazy grin of the Joker (the comic strip character from which the Ducati Style Center drew inspiration for this new Bologna-built naked). Already featured on the Panigale V4 and SuperSport, the V-shaped DRL is another clear Ducati hallmark.
Now add to that the new elements specifically for the Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP2 version, such as racing dry clutch and carbon fibre wheels, and you immediately feel the massive benefits of more controllable power delivery and precision and cornering agility being improved exponentially.
Versions available: Streetfighter V4 – Streetfighter V4 S
Compared to the Streetfighter V4S, the riding position of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP2 remains the same with an above-ground height of 845 mm – it also continues to use the Öhlins NIX-30 fork, an Öhlins TTX36 rear shock absorber and an Öhlins event-based steering damper. (Suspension and steering damper are controlled by the second-generation Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 system which, among other things, features the new OBTi -Objective Based Tuning Interface). However then we get the upgraded features: Top of the range Brembo Stylema R front callipers, an STM Evo Superbike dry clutch, carbon fibre wings bearing the Italian flag, fully adjustable billet aluminium footrests and carbon fibre wheel rims that offer a 1.4kg saving on the already lightweight Marchesini rims of the Streetfighter V4S. The reduction in un-sprung has a massive effect on the cornering agility of this very special model. Reducing the inertia figures by a massive 26% on the front wheel and 46% for the rear. This bike will turn on a sixpence.
Fast, agile mixed-road performance demands maximum stability at high speed and when braking, reduced wheel-up during acceleration and minimised electronic control of the suspension set-up: that’s why Ducati Corse specialists have, together with the Ducati Style Centre, developed biplane wings for the Ducati Streetfighter. On the Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP2, these are carbon fibre and are finished with the Italian flag.
Race Look - The “Winter Test” livery is designed by the Centro Stile Ducati taking inspiration from the Ducati Corse bikes used during the pre-season tests of the MotoGP and SBK Championships.
High Power
1103cc, 208 hp, 123 Nm
The new Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP2 is powered by a 1103 cm3 Desmosedici Stradale engine. In this configuration the 90° V4 delivers 208 hp (153 kW) at 12,750 rpm, an unrivalled power level within the naked segment, perfectly in keeping with the all-out character of the new Streetfighter V4 SP2. Maximum torque is 123 Nm (12.5 kgm) at 11,500 rpm, practically unchanged with respect to the Panigale V4. Dedicated engine mapping lets riders safely make the most of Streetfighter V4 SP2 performance on the road. The final ratio, shorter than that of the Panigale V4, delivers a wheel torque higher of +10%, which ensures an immediate response to the throttle command. Power and torque can be raised to 220 hp (162 kW) and 130 Nm (13.2 kgm) by fitting the full-racing Ducati Performance exhaust by Akrapovič that also reduces weight by – 6 kg.
Monocoque Frame
Lightweight Carbon Wheels
The high-quality wheels of the Streetfighter V4 SP2, with 5 split spokes, are made of high-strength carbon fibre and have aluminium hubs screwed to the composite structure. Both allow a weight saving of 1.4 kg compared to the forged aluminium wheels of the Streetfighter V4 S, which reaches 3.4 kg compared to the aluminium ones of the Streetfighter V4, leading to a significant reduction in the moment of inertia to the benefit of nimbleness and lightness in changes of direction*.
Semi Active Suspension
EVO SBK Dry Clutch
A bike ready to hit the track, thanks to exclusive technical equipment that combines the “Fight Formula” with the “SP” specifications, making it even more effective in sports riding.
The Streetfighter V4 S features semi-active Öhlins suspension with SmartEC 2.0 interface, gaining in versatility, effectiveness and rapidity in set-up.
On the Streetfighter V4 SP2 the Desmosedici Stradale is equipped with the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, which guarantees a better slipper function, even in the most aggressive of climbs, and more fluidity in all “off-throttle” phases.
Brembo Stylema Monobloc Calipers
Phenominal stopping power
The brake department consists of two 330 mm diameter Brembo discs at the front combined with the new Brembo Stylema R® monobloc calipers, with racing-derived pistons equipped with ventilation holes, which improve the stability of the lever travel after numerous laps of the track and reduce residual torque.*
Semi Active Ohlins Suspension
Making bumps invisible
Like the Streetfighter V4 S, the SP2 version is also equipped with an Öhlins NIX-30 fork, Öhlins TTX36 rear shock absorber and Öhlins steering damper controlled by the second generation Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 system with an event-based operating system.
The Streetfighter V4 SP2, unlike the S version, has springs and suspension hydraulics identical to those of the Panigale V4, with the only difference being a fork spring preload reduced from 11 mm to 6 mm.
