Return of the king

Sublime road sportsbike.

Breathing life into the middle weight class, Kawasaki re-establishes itself as an undisputed leader of the 600cc category. Boasting higher midrange power and torque from its extra 37cc capacity, compared to its competitors. Power delivery is made smoother and more controllable with assisted slipper clutch and latest electronics. To top it all off the bike comes equipped with all LED lighting and a quickshifter included as standard.

Balance of a Ninja

Cutting edge electronics and engineering.

The KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team) version comes in it’s own very distinctive and very striking KRT livery. But a menacing stealth grey model is also available, showing contrasting nature of the middleweight ninja perfectly, screaming track weapon and composed comfortable road bike. Ninja ZX6R 636 doesn’t shy from either. New Ninja ZX6R 636 is packed with all of the latest rider aids including multi level KTRC (Kawasaki TRaction Control) traction control and KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent Braking System) ABS.

Race inspired

Optimised for the road

Taking the developments from the race track, the new Ninja ZX6R 636 uses cutting edge technology in terms of geometry, engineering and electronics, carrying the lessons learned through multiple championship winning ZX10R. Certain styling cues have been passed on to the smaller sibling too, such as the rear LED light, and even adjustable levers.

Legendary Performance

Sublime, high revving, powerful 636cc inline four.

The advantage offered by the Ninja ZX-6R’s 37 cm3 greater displacement is significant for real world riding exhilaration. Greater performance across the rpm range is welcome when sport riding, both in the hills and on the racetrack. But stronger low and mid-range torque compared to “ordinary” mid-size supersport models also offers increased usability in everyday street-riding situations, like riding in stop-and-go city traffic, or accelerating to pass another vehicle on the highway. Updates for 2019 ensure emissions clear Euro4 regulations. Race-inspired clutch technology offers both a back torque limiting function as well as a light feel at the lever. Cassette transmission makes it easy to change gear ratios quickly, reducing necessary set-up time for trackdays. A shorter final gear 1 ratio (43/16 >> 43/15) further emphasises the engine’s strong low-end. Well suited to the Ninja ZX-6R’s street focus, this change promises even more fun on the street and on winding roads.
