A livery that cannot be forgotten
The 1975 Italian road racing champion.
The livery of the Panigale V2 S 100 takes up the colour scheme of the 1975 750 Super Sport Desmo, but with a modern twist. The yellow swingarm emerges as a distinctive element, a direct reference to the vintage motorcycle that is immediately recognisable. The dry clutch, specifically developed for the new V2 models in Collezione100, becomes a visual focal point and a defining technical feature, presenting the mechanics as an integral part of the style. The end product forms a dialogue between past and present, where colour, graphics and function meet, giving shape to a Panigale that embodies the essence of Ducati racing.
The new Ducati Panigale V2 S has been re-designed from the ground up. The true superbike “Panigale” pedigree is absolutely clear, bearing an unmistakable resemblance to its big brother the Ducati Panigale V4. The powerplant is an all new 90 degree V2 engine.
comfortable riding position, wide handlebar and road-oriented chassis modifications.
Just looking at it you can immediately tell it’s a Panigale. It has a completely new front, with a headlight equipped with DRL and lines loaded on the front, typically Panigale. The riding position is aggressive, but not uncomfortable.
Thanks to its lightness and the performance of the new Ducati twin-cylinder engine, this bike is a real fun bike thanks to the low-end torque for maximum fun everytime you open the throttle on the exit of a corner. The Panigale V2 S with 176 kg is the lightest in the segment.
The clip-ons position of the Panigale V2 S (higher and closer to the fuel tank vs those of the previous generation model) contributes to reduce riding effort and to increase versatility moreover provides the right front wheel feeling and support in braking while riding on track.
The footpegs allow for plenty of ground clearance when riding on the circuit without being too uncomfortable for the knees position.
The seat placed at 837mm/33in of height ensures that it is easy to reach the ground for more riding comfort andc onfidence.
Fuel tank shape, inspired by that of the new Panigale V4, delivers support in braking and “hanging off” phases.
Adjustable footpegs and lower clip-ons (below top triple clamp) are available as accessories for an even more effective racetrack riding position.
Panigale V2 S 100 is developed from the Panigale V2 S: the lightest ever Panigale, it marked a watershed moment in the history of Ducati sports twins because, for the first time, it was not derived from the higher-capacity motorcycle racing in Superbike.
