With so many scooters available on the market, it was important that the Kawasaki J300 stand out from the crowd. The J300’s sharp, aggressive design adopts styling elements from our Kawasaki Ninja supersport motorcycles, ensuring a strong Kawasaki family resemblance.
The new Kawasaki J300 Super Scooter uses a 299 cc liquid-cooled SOHC 4-valve Single cylinder engine that provides plenty of power to cope with all kinds of riding situations from the daily commute to fun Sunday rides in to the countryside.
There are many features that set the Kawasaki J300 apart from other scooters available today, such as the adjustable brake levers to the fold out pillion foot pegs derived from the motorcycles. A great deal of thought has gone in to this new scooter from Kawasaki’s engineers.
The sporting Ninja characteristics include the sculpted floor boards to not only allow maximum bank or lean angles but also to allow the riders legs to go straight down rather than be spread apart when stationary. The twin trade mark Kawasaki petal disc brakes ensure that there is also plenty of stopping power.
As well as the sporting aspects of the Kawasaki J300 it also boasts all of the practical features that today’s super scooter owners have come to expect, such as the ergonomically contoured seat. The thickly padded seat offers excellent comfort and good rider support. There is storage under the seat for a full-face helmet and a sealed glove box for storage of a mobile phone or anything else the modern commuter might need, as well as a hook in front of the rider for your takeaway.
The new Kawasaki J300 comes with an ABS braking system ensuring that the maximum level of stopping power for the ever changing weather conditions is available at all times. Kawasaki have done it again.

299 CM3 LIQUID-COOLED, 4-STROKE SINGLE
Designed to enable enjoyable, sporty riding, the J300’s a 299 cm3 liquid-cooled SOHC 4-valve Single engine provides plenty of power to move two. Taking into account coolant temperature, air intake temperature, throttle position, air intake pressure, vehicle speed and crankshaft angle, the fuel injection system (which uses a 34 mm Keihin throttle body and a 16-bit CPU) automatically meters out the ideal amount of fuel for extremely stable power delivery – regardless of the conditions. And of course, setting adjustments are not necessary, and starting is hassle-free.
For added braking reassurance, ABS control comes care of a lightweight Bosch unit.
SPECIALLY DESIGNED FLOORBOARDS
Floorboards are specially designed to allow a good bank angle, contributing to the J300’s sporty riding potential. To facilitate the reach to the ground when stopped, they also feature concave cut-outs to minimise interference with the rider’s legs.

ADJUSTABLE BRAKE LEVERS
Left and right brake levers are both adjustable, offering riders four settings to suit hand size and preference.
SEALED GLOVE BOX WITH 12V OUTLET
Sealed glove box at the front can accommodate small items (maximum load 1.5 kg) and includes a 12V accessory outlet.
FOLDING PASSENGER FOOTPEGS
Motorcycle-style folding passenger pegs also contribute to passenger comfort. Easier to weight than board-type footrests, they enable to the passenger to control their weight transfer when slowing.
Heel grips make it easier to hold the bike the heels, facilitating control.
Design of the instruments contributes to a high quality image. Instruments consist of analogue speedometer and tachometer dials flanking a multi-function LCD panel. LCD meter functions include: odometer, dual trip meters, service mode, clock, fuel gauge, coolant temperature gauge, and engine warning symbol.
ANTI-TAMPER, ANTI-THEFT IGNITION SWITCH
The ignition switch has three positions: ON, OFF and LOCKED (which locks the steering column). Ignition switch is equipped with a shutter to discourage tampering and theft. The shutter can be conveniently opened with the back of the key.
At the rear, the sharp tail cowl gives the rear of the J300 a distinctive Kawasaki appearance. Sharp taillight design similar to that of our Z models helps the J300 stand out from the rest of the mob in crowded city traffic.
INTEGRATED TURN SIGNALS
Front and rear turn signals are built into the bodywork. Clear lenses help them blend into the design seamlessly, enhancing the sharp body lines.
ERGONOMICALLY CONTOURED SEAT
Contoured, thickly padded seat offers excellent comfort and good rider support.
SPORTY & COMFORTABLE SUSPENSION SETTINGS
Settings selected to deliver both light, sporty handling and comfortable ride feel when navigating European city streets.
The J300 offers a high level of fit & finish and numerous high-quality touches that contribute to its overall quality appearance. 3D brand and model emblems contribute to the high-quality image. Complementing the great looking instrumentation, metallic paint on the sculpted handlebar cover adds a quality touch to the cockpit. Two-pattern seat cover and silver stitching contributes to the appearance of the seat.
Under-seat storage is large enough to accommodate a full-face helmet and an A4-size briefcase – ideal for business use. Maximum load is 10 kg
