Low speed excitement
Revolutionary bike, technological content and performance
Ducati enters the Cruiser world and does so in its very own way, presenting a revolutionary bike, with technological content and performance that is typical of its DNA. The Ducati XDiavel represents the best of both worlds. The Ducati world: thrilling performance, sporty power, advanced electronics. The cruiser world: long, low, forward positioned footpegs, powerful torque even at low speeds, no compromise in terms of materals and finishes. The XDiavel is low speed excitement: relaxed low-speed riding, typical of the cruiser, combined with the excitement and the adrenaline of sports riding that charaterise every Ducati.
Relaxed riding position, like a real cruiser.
When the designers and engineers started to work on the XDiavel, they started from a basic concept: a relaxed riding position, like a real cruiser, with a low seat and forward footpegs. But that was not all: the ergonomics had to be modular, so as to allow the rider to meld into the bike, like a tailored suit.
Modern shapes, cutting-edge components
Long, low, muscular, with modern shapes and technologically cutting-edge components. But above all, sexy. This is how Ducati designers envisaged the XDiavel when they started work on the initial sketches. A bike that combines absolute style with cutting-edge technology. A bike that projects the concept of Cruiser into modern times, towards the future, a true “Technocruiser”.
Enjoy the road, with confidence
Quiet, smooth and takes off like a raging bull.
Ducati have done an amazing job of transforming a muscle bike engine into a perfectly behaved Cruiser throughout the low rev and speed ranges.
The new DVT (Ducati Variable Timed) engine of the Ducati X-Diavel, hand in hand with the new belt drive deliver a quiet and smooth source of propulsion that in turn evoques a sense of low speed excitement.
However….. select Sports riding mode, pin the throttle and the XDiavel takes off like a raging bull.
