Ducati has gone the extra mile in 2019 to ensure that the updated Diavel is the ultimate muscle cruiser. With a vast array of changes and improvements to an already excellent motorcycle.
Ducati struck a gold with a perfect balance between supernaked power and comfortable ergonomics of a cruiser with the Diavel back in 2011, so much so the bike hasn’t changed a great deal until now.
Diavel receives a new, improved and more advanced power plant developed from sublime Ducati Multistrada 1260 DVT. The new engine provides mountains of low and mid range grunt, whilst retaining the astounding power figures of the original Diavel, some 160bhp. New and improved engine further emphasise the powerful and muscular nature of the Diavel.
Along with the engine Ducati put a large amount of effort to further evolve the unique style of this muscle cruiser. Headlamp, air intakes, indicators, exhaust and tail unit have been redesigned to highlight the no compromise powerful appearance of the Diavel, ensuring that it will turn heads wherever it arrives.
Following the punch, changes extend also to the electronic systems of the bike, extra power would be worthless without the way to control it. This Diavel 1260 comes as standard with 6 axes Bosh traction control and ABS system ensuring safety and control in all conditions, cruise control for those who plan on carving the roads during long trips. In addition touring package boasting panniers, tall screen and passenger backrest will add to the Diavels cruiser character.

A contemporary character

The new Diavel is built around the Testastretta DVT 1262 engine, a beacon of power, beauty, and sophistication. Its 152 hp translate to unbelievable acceleration and pick-up, while the flat and consistent torque curve low rpm allows steady and easy to handle delivery. The Ride by Wire (RbW) control matched with three Riding Modes and three Power Modes allows personalized engine responsiveness. A true beauty, as far as mechanics and design go, and a real game-changer on the road.
Riding pleasure at its best
Sportiness and comfort meet in the new Diavel. The trellis frame ensures lightness and torsional rigidity, while the adjustable fork provides comfort and stability. The care devoted to ergonomics is complemented by the perfect combination of a higher handlebar, a lower seat and central footpegs, with a comfortable and versatile riding position. The S version is fitted with Öhlins suspensions, for a guaranteed fun and exciting riding experience.

The new Diavel is an ode to elegance and sophisticated details: carbon fiber components and a finely stitched premium quality seat complement the Diavel’s outstanding style. No compromises were made on its aggressive character, as Marchesini forged rims and the Thrilling Black & Dark Stealth liveries testify.
