Warranty Plus, for 2024 is included with all new Kawasaki motorcycles. Meaning they come with a 4 year warranty included.
This warranty extension covers the whole bike for an additional two years (excluding wear and tear parts, aesthetic defects, accessories or battery).
Both warranty and extension are covered Europe wide.
The warranty stays with the bike when sold or transferred thus adding to residual value.
This offer represents a saving of £295 on bikes up to 799cc, and £345 on larger capacity bikes.
Terms and ConditionsWith Warranty Plus warranty extension, your bike is entirely covered for manufacturing defects.
Warranty Plus warranty extension includes all features in line with the standard manufacturer warranty.
However, it does not include:
a) Malfunctions owing to improper maintenance, repair or lack of care for the bike (we remind you that the official Kawasaki maintenance plan must be respected for the standard or extended warranty to be valid).
b) Components subject to wear or deterioration as a result of the normal operation of the bike (for example: tyres, filters, lights, final drive, belts, flexible controls, spark plugs, friction components including the clutch and brake pads and discs).
c) Aesthetic damage to painted or chromed surfaces, also as a result of oxidation or atmospheric agents owing to environmental conditions or exceptional circumstances, or to irregular or incorrect washing of the bike.
d) Installation of components/accessories and modifications to the bike that are not approved by Kawasaki.
e) The bike’s battery.
f) Bikes used in any kind of sporting competition.
g) Bikes used for commercial or rental services.

New Kawasaki Versys 1000 S has for 2026 has all of the added aids that were previously only on the SE version installed as standard, with the exception of the new Showa “Skyhook” active suspension. With refinements to the engine, added electronic throttle valves, Bosh inertial measurement unit allowed for a massive amount of new electronic rider assists and features to be added as standard to the new bike. Furthermore, the styling of the Versys 1000 is centered around the rider. With sharp Kawasaki lines, with aggressive Ninja H2 inspired nose, housing two highly illuminating LED headlamps.

The main concern when designing the new Versys 1000 range was comfort to the rider and passenger, ergonomics, seat position, wind protection and the seat shape are all focused to maximise comfort, on the globe trotting expeditions this bike is built for. On the other hand, the sharp Ninja H2 inspired styling hint at the more naughty side of the bike. To accentuate the highest grade finish on the bike, the SE models are painted in Kawasaki “Self Healing” Highly Durable paint. Allowing the bike to remain looking pristine for longer.

The 1,043 cc In-line Four used in the superb Kawasaki Z1000 and Ninja 1000SX ranges, tuned for flexibility returns in the new Versys 1000 S. Superb throttle response and strong torque at all rpm (especially in the low-mid range) is even better on the new Versys 1000 S, thanks to electronic throttle valves. Packing all of the updated features, such as the much anticipated cruise control, smooth power delivery thanks to variable throttle valves as well as Kawasaki up and down Quickshifter included as standard on the S model.

Kawasaki’s supersport-grade high-precision brake management system is standard equipment on the Versys 1000 S. This is the same base system used on the Ninja H2 and Ninja ZX-10R, with programming and settings revised to suit the street performance parameters and long-travel suspension of the Versys 1000 S.

Bosch IMU
Using the latest evolution of Kawasaki’s advanced modelling software and feedback from a compact Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), KCMF monitors engine and chassis parameters throughout the corner – from entry, through the apex, to corner exit – modulating brake force and engine power to facilitate smooth transition from acceleration to braking and back again, and to assist riders in tracing their intended line through the corner.
