2018 is looking rosy (or should we say red) with Ducati having now officially launched next year's models including the Panigale V4, 959 Corse, Monster 821 and Multistrada 1260…
Ducati Panigale V4
EICMA in Milan saw the launch of the long awaited Panigale V4, (£19,295) but in usual Ducati style they didn't stop there. Of course there's the Panigale V4 S version, with Ducati Ohlins Evo electronic suspension front and rear as well as the very lightweight Marchesisi forged alloy wheels available in red at £23,895. What wasn't expected was the Ducati Panigale V4 Speciale, a limited edition of 1500 bikes, with distinct "Tricolore" livery and priced at £34,995 or with Gold Magnesium Wheels £38,495.
The Ducati Panigale V4 has a host of features, but one figure that sets it aside is that when fitted with the full Race Akrapovic exhaust system and along with the enhanced engine mapping, it releases the full power potential of this new Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine from 214 to 226 Bhp.
Ducati Multistrada 1260
For 2018, the new Multistrada 1260 has been given a huge boost of low to mid range grunt that has improved the torque delivered between 3000-6000 rpm immeasurably. There's also the 1260 S, 1260 Pikes Peak and 1260 S D-Air version available with prices starting from £14,295.00 for the standard Multistrada.
Ducati Monster 821
Yellow is back! The new Ducati Monster 821 was launched ahead of ECIMA and pays homage to the legacy of the Monster 900, which over 25 years ago revolutionised the motorcycle world and set the benchmark for all naked sports bikes.
The design of the new Monster 821 is true to the original lines of the bike born in 1993 but revisited with a modern flair. The silhouette and unmistakable tank also comes with a fastening hook, just like the first Monster and pricing starts from £9,895 for Monster 821 in red.
Ducati 959 Corse
The Ducati 959 Panigale Corse for 2018 is not only just a new paint scheme, it is a dramatically enhanced new version of the already exceptional Ducati 959 Panigale. The very striking Corse livery makes the bike look fast, while the top spec Ohlins forks, shock absorber and steering damper enhance the chassis performance to a level that it will negotiate the tightest curves fast too.
New Ducati Scrambler 1100
The Ducati Scrambler has been a huge success story for Ducati, and next year the Scrambler family just got bigger again, but literally this time! 2018 will see the Ducati Scrambler 1100, bigger and better than ever before. The new 1079cc engine delivers more power and much more torque than its 800cc smaller brother. Traction control, cornering ABS and ride modes are all standard features on the Scrambler 1100 range, starting from £10,695. With a seat height of 810mm this bike should fit all. Don't forget to take a look at the Sport and Special 1100 Scramblers too!
These new 2018 Ducati motorcycles are expected to start arriving in January, but if you'd like more information just call Tony or Toby on 01508 471919 or email us.
