Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Lands at Ducati Norwich

One of the latest additions to the Ducati Scrambler family for 2017 has landed at Ducati Norwich – the Desert Sled Scrambler adds another string to the Scrambler brand bow.

Indeed the Scrambler brand is all about lifestyle, personalisation, self-expression and enjoying life to the full and with two very different Scramblers introduced this year, the Desert Sled and Cafe Racer, the brand continues to go from strength to strength.

The name Desert Sled whilst may seem a bit strange but is relevant to the 60’s and 70’s when road bikes were stripped back and the wheels, tyres and suspension were modified to cope with the unforgiving desert terrain, with big engine skid plates fitted to shield the bike from the rocks, stones and desert – can you see a resemblance?

This was also the reason why Ducati chose to launch the Desert Sled Scrambler to the UK Press in the Tabernas Desert in Spain.  As Europe’s only desert, this has been the location for the filming many spaghetti Westerns.

After the riding the new Scrambler, the feedback from the motorcycling press was so positive it was hard to get the journalists to say anything negative about the bike, proving that Ducati had come up with the near perfect Scrambler for both on and off road.  The Desert Sled is priced at £9,495 for the white and also available in red at £9,395.

Why not put the Desert Sled to the test yourself and call Sales on 01058 471919 to book a test ride or get all the facts and full specs on the Desert Sled here.
