Concept

Energize

Strong, compact package.

Like its predecessor, the superbly balanced Z650 offers sugomi performance and styling in a slim, compact middleweight package that features a 650cc Parallel Twin engine with strong low-mid range torque in a lightweight chassis. Engine refinements contribute to cleaner emissions and increased mid-range torque, new tyres offer lighter handling, and a redesigned tandem seat offers increased passenger comfort. Design

The Sugomi Philosophy

Beauty in technology

The Sugomi design philosophy is strongly utilised throughout the bike. Unmistakable stance of the bike that brings to mind a predator stalking its prey, ready to pounce at any moment. Low headlight and high tail are a staple of the Z design. In addition, in line with the rest of the family of Z bikes, fairing is kept to a minimum leaving the tubular trellis frame, engine and exhaust on display for those who truly appreciate the beauty that comes from mechanical excellence.

Engine

Unmistakable heartbeat

Legendary Kawasaki twin cylinder engine.

The beating heart of the bike is the 649cc motor. The noise of a 90 degree crank, twin cylinder, dual overhead cam, four stroke Kawasaki engine is unmistakable to all enthusiasts of motorcycling. Tried, tested and loved by many powerplant is at the centre of the bike design. Increased mid-range performance comes from redesigned exhaust which allows the bike to pass through the rigorous Euro5 emissions limits. Making for smoother and more usable power delivery.
