Ducati Diavel 1260 S – So Good To Be Bad

Ducati has gone the extra mile in 2019 to ensure that the updated Diavel is the ultimate muscle cruiser. With a vast array of changes and improvements to already excellent motorcycle.

Ducati struck a gold with a perfect balance between supernaked power and comfortable ergonomics of a cruiser with the Diavel back in 2011, so much so the bike hasn’t changed a great deal until now.

Diavel receives a new, improved and more advanced power plant developed from sublime Ducati Multistrada 1260 DVT. New and improved engine further emphasise the powerful and muscular nature of the Diavel.

Along with the engine Ducati put a large amount of effort to further evolve the unique style of this muscle cruiser. Headlamp, air intakes, indicators, exhaust and tail unit have been redesigned to highlight the no compromise powerful appearance of the Diavel, ensuring that it will turn heads wherever it arrives.

Following the punch, changes extend also to the electronic systems of the bike, extra power would be worthless without the way to control it. This Diavel 1260 comes as standard with 6 axes Bosh traction control and ABS system ensuring safety and control in all conditions, cruise control for those who plan on carving the roads during long trips. In addition touring package boasting panniers, tall screen and passenger backrest will add to the Diavels cruiser character.

Those who want more dedicated performance on the sportier and naughtier side of the Diavel, S model brings a multitude of enhancements. Starting with sophisticated Ohlins suspension, Ducati up and down quickshifter and massive Brembo M50 callipers Diavel 1260 S will give you surprising amounts of performance from a muscle cruiser. To further emphasise the extra premium nature of the Diavel 1260S, it also gets a premium seat as well launch control.

The Daytime Running Light (DRL) headlight, available on the S version, is an unmistakable hallmark of the new Diavel.

Overview

A bold statement

Sharp, angular contours set it aside

Angular lines and an imposing front bring out the strong and restless personality of the new Diavel Lamborghini. Featuring a long, slender rear with a 240 mm rear wheel which gives this bike a truly animalistic look. The distinct Lamborghini colours have been used on the carbon bodywork and wheels (which are a design copy of the Supercars wheels) making this bike leap out of the crowd.

With only 630 Diavel Lamborghinis being made worldwide, this was a rare opportunity to grasp a piece of tomorrows Ducati history. Unfortunately this model is now SOLD OUT.

Concept

Rob the scene

Powerful. Muscular. But also agile and effective between the curves for maximum riding enjoyment.

The idea behind the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini was to celebrate the collaboration of two highly respected iconic Italian brands. Combining the different design approaches from both Superbike and Supercar manufacturers. The outcome is truly amazing. Between them, they have produced this limited edition beauty that is guaranteed to turn the heads of everyone it passes.
