The Monster has been part of the Ducati family for 20 years, for 2014 they have redesigned this truly iconic motorcycle that is Monster.

Unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, the Ducati Monster 1200 and S version are powered by the superbike-derived 1198 Testastretta 11° DS engine.

The standard Monster 1200 produces 135bhp and 87lbft of torque while the S version produces 145bhp and 92lbft of torque.

Both models offer fully-adjustable suspension but the S version features 48mm Ohlins front forks and Ohlins at the rear too. The S version also has uprated Brembo monobloc brakes, the same ones used on the Panigale

Again both bikes have been equipped with the Ducati Safety Pack (DSP) which includes ABS and Ducati traction control as standard and only require a major service every 18,000 miles.

The price starts at £10,695 for the 1200 and £12,995 for the Monster 1200 S version.
