Ducati Forged Rims

An accessory designed to maximise the performance and lightness of the bike for road use. The special production technique, in which a block of molten metal is pressed into a mould and countermould system, ensures less porosity and thus greater strength than cast rims. Accessory supplied as standard on models equipped with forged rims. The use of this accessory is permitted on paved roads only. Decrease in weight compared to models with cast rims: 2.2 kg. Decrease in weight compared to models with spoked rims: 4.9 kg.
