Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 by Roland Sands

The latest Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 has eye catching livery that was designed by the legendary bike builder Roland Sands is based on the Scrambler Icon, but the new Mach 2.0 features lower, tapered handlebars, the seat from the Flat Track Pro model, black exhaust and cylinder head covers and brushed cooling fins. The inspiration for the design came from the Bell Cross Idol helmet featured in the 2017 Ducati Scrambler apparel collection.

As with the rest of the Ducati Scrambler range, the Scrambler Mach 2.0 is a contemporary take on how Ducati saw the how the development of this model would have progressed had they continued producing the original model.

Inspiration for the name of this latest Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 comes from a bike that made both Ducati and motorcycling history back in 1965, when the Mach 1 250 was launched; a classic of its day that utilised the same engine as the Scrambler 250 of the time.

The Scrambler Range

The new Ducati Scrambler model range has grabbed the imagination of so many, with the release of numerous versions there really is a Scrambler to suit everyone! From casual off road with the Scrambler Desert Sled, Street focussed with the new Scrambler Cafe Racer to the all rounders, the Scrambler Icon, Full Throttle and of course the Classic.

The Land of Joy

Creative, youthful and spirited, the new Ducati Scrambler is more than just a motorcycle, it is a new brand that enhances creativity, self-expression and the sharing of positive emotions. It is a universe of fun, joy and freedom made of motorcycles, accessories and apparel.

It is Free-Spirited

Unconventional, accessible and essential, the Ducati Scrambler embodies the perfect mix of tradition and modernity and it is a step towards the pure essence of motorcycling: two wheels, wide handlebars, a simple engine and loads of fun.

The Design Philosophy is “Post-Heritage “

“Post-heritage” design means taking the best from the past to create something unique and absolutely contemporary. The Ducati Scrambler is not a vintage motorcycle, but the ideal result of how the famous motorcycle from Borgo Panigale would be if Ducati had never stopped producing it.
