Representative Example is based on an annual mileage of 4000 .

With Personal Contract Purchase (PCP), once you have paid all of the regular monthly payments you have the option to

(1) Return the vehicle and not pay the Optional Final Payment. If the vehicle has exceeded the maximum agreed mileage, a charge per excess mile will apply of 6.0 + VAT pence per mile. If the vehicle is in good condition (fair wear and tear accepted) and has not exceeded the maximum agreed mileage you will have nothing further to pay;
(2) Pay the Optional Final Payment to own the vehicle or;
(3) Part exchange the vehicle subject to settlement of your existing credit agreement; new credit agreements are subject to status.

However, the amount of commission we receive from a lender does not have an effect on the amount you pay to that lender under your credit agreement, additionally it does not affect the array of finance offers that we make available from carefully selected finance partners. Please ask if you need / or would like any further information.

Overview

The Science of Speed

Track riding to the next level for amateurs and pros alike.

The 2022 version of the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 is the most serious trackday tool that Ducati have built to date. Although strongly based on the Panigale V4 S, a series of refinements make for a lighter, more agile chassis making the bike faster not just on individual laps but over entire timed sessions. The very lightweight Carbon rims that save some 3.4 kilos of unsprung weight over the standard bike rims play a big part in reducing these lap times. How? – Reductions of inertia through the wheels of some 26% front and 46% rear have this bike turning on a sixpence. As with the V4 S, the Aero Pack provides enhanced airflow protection and improves overall vehicle stability, enhancing confidence. The Front Frame, instead, modifies stiffness to give better front-end ‘feel’ at extreme lean angles. Ducati and Ducati Corse engineers have crunched the feedback/data numbers from customers all over the world and Superbike World Championship events. Their analysis has led to a series of aerodynamic, chassis, electronic control and Ride by Wire mapping changes: designed to increase stability and turn-in speed, these changes make it easier to close corners and ensure riders enjoy more confident throttle control.

Concept

How much better?

Built according to Ducati Corse specifications.

Further changes on the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 over and above the V4 S model are considerable. The dry clutch that is just exceptional at getting the bike off the line in the shortest time possible. Rider refinements such as remote adjusters on both front brake and clutch that allow for easy rolling adjustments to be made. The latest Brembo Stylema R callipers, strong enough to bury the front wheel into the ground and some beautifully engineered fully adjustable rider footrests to tune the chassis perfectly to the rider. Along with the carbon wheels, each of these enhancements add more than their weight in worth. Put together, the alteration to the characteristics of this bike are just unbelievable. The new SP livery simply makes it look everything that it is – A stylish aggressive track missile.

Design

Aero Fairing by Ducati Corse

Plexiglas screen, nose fairing and larger lateral fairings, more efficient lateral vents for radiator through-air and Aerofoils

Co-developed by Ducati Corse and the Ducati Style Center, the Ducati Panigale V4 S MY2020 aerodynamics package now mirrors that of the Panigale V4 R. The result; fairings that – in true Panigale style – meet official Ducati Superbike requirements in full. As in MotoGP, aerodynamic development involved a series of preliminary CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) studies, followed by optimisation on a full-scale wind tunnel model. The new Plexiglas screen – higher and more angled – provides better airflow protection for riders, especially in the helmet and upper shoulder areas. The screen works in concert with a new nose fairing that is higher and wider (+15 mm per side) in the arm-shield zone to reduce arm and shoulder-induced drag on the straights. The lateral fairings have been widened considerably (+38 mm per side) with the dual aim of reducing on-rider airflow impact and maximising aerofoil efficiency. On the sides, the stylish air vents of the Panigale V4 Shave been replaced by more efficient ones that increase air through-speeds on water and oil radiators by 6% and 16% respectively. Panigale V4 S is equipped with 3-spoke forged aluminium alloy wheels.

Engine

New changes for top performances

Specially developed Ride by Wire system mappings with several torque delivery control settings.

The Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 as with the V4 S features new, specially developed Ride by Wire system mappings with several torque delivery control settings. Track-dedicated RbW mapping aligns rider demand with delivered torque more closely, resulting in smoother, more predictable throttle response.
