The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 S Gen 7 represents a major leap forward in Ducati’s superbike lineage, blending race-derived engineering with refined road usability. Here’s a deeper look at what sets this model apart:
Engine and Performance
• Powered by the 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, now producing 216 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120.9 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm.
• Features upgraded cam profiles, a lighter alternator, and an oil pump borrowed from the Panigale V4 R.
• Incorporates longer-travel variable-length intake horns and a gearbox drum from the Superleggera V4, enhancing responsiveness and top-end performance.
• Meets Euro 5+ emissions standards without compromising power delivery.
Chassis and Suspension
• Introduces a new double-sided aluminium swingarm with 37% increased lateral stiffness for improved stability.
• The front frame is 47 kg lighter and more flexible, contributing to better handling and feedback.
• Equipped with Öhlins NPX 25/30 S-EC 3.0 electronic forks and Öhlins TTX36 S-EC 3.0 rear shock, offering semi-active suspension tailored for both road and track.
Braking and Electronics
• Debuts Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers with a self-bleeding master cylinder, a first for Ducati.
• Race eCBS (electronic combined braking system) automatically trails the rear brake into corners, enhancing stability under hard braking.
• Includes Ducati’s full suite of rider aids: traction control, wheelie control, slide control, engine brake control, launch control, and pit limiter.
Ergonomics and Design
• Footrests moved inward by 10 mm to allow greater lean angles.
• Seat is wider and longer to accommodate a broader range of rider sizes and improve comfort.
• Aerodynamic improvements include a redesigned fairing with integrated double-profile winglets, reducing drag by 4%.
• Styling pays homage to the iconic Ducati 916, with a sleeker silhouette and distinctive front-end design.
Ride Experience
• The Gen 7 is more forgiving and stable than previous versions, especially under aggressive riding conditions.
• Improved tyre management and chassis flex make it easier to maintain performance over longer sessions.
• While still a high-performance machine, it’s more approachable for skilled riders who want to push limits without being overwhelmed.
This generation of Panigale V4 S is not just faster—it’s smarter, more refined, and more capable of translating raw power into usable performance.
