Ninja 650, Tourer & Performance – NOW SOLD OUT

Who says you can't have it all? The Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a sportily styled, lightweight versatile and a very practical new model with an exceptionally comfortable riding position. This bike will suit all, whether new to riding or a weathered rider, the combination of the punchy 650cc engine and the featherweight chassis is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Country lanes, open roads or an urban commute makes no matter. The versatility of the Ninja 650 shines through. An added bonus is the improvement in what was already a very fuel efficient power plant.

The frame of the Kawasaki Ninja 650 is of steel trellis construction. Taking technology from the production of the mighty Kawasaki H2R, this construction allows Kawasaki to tune in just the right amount of flex or rigidity where required. The total weight of this new frame is a mere 15Kg which has assisted in the 20 Kg reduction vs the ER6F.

The Ninja 650 comes with an assist slipper clutch. Assist making it lighter to use and the slipper aspect ensuring that the rear wheel does not lock up even when the wrong gear has been selected on the downshift.

Ninja Genes – A complete restyle of close fitting bodywork gives the Kawasaki Ninja 650 that unmistakable Kawasaki Ninja look (just take a peek at the ZX10R Supersports bike). The KRT livery just seems to bring this bike alive. It's new sporty style reflecting it's sporting performance perfectly.

The Ninja 650 Tourer comes with semi rigid panniers and a touring screen, the Ninja 650 Performance is enhanced with an Akrapovic exhaust system, a colour coded seat cowl and a tinted screen.

Restriction for A2 Licence compliancy is available on request.

This all new Kawasaki Ninja 650 has seamlessly joined the rest of the Ninja family. Isn't it time for you to do the same.  Give our Sales department a call on 01508 471919 to book your road test and we will let the bike do the rest of the talking.

Ninja Touches

Linked suspension delivers a balance of sporty performance and ride comfort. Assist & Slipper Clutch was developed based on feedback from racing activities. The clutch uses two types of cams, offering  two new functions not available on a standard clutch.

Nimble Handling

Benefitting from a thoroughly redesigned chassis, the new Ninja 650 weighs in at 193 kg. Designed using Kawasaki’s new in-house analysis technology, the lightweight trellis frame and swingarm were the key to the Ninja 650’s ultra-light handling.

Ergonomics

Separate handlebars contribute to the Ninja 650’s relatively upright position. Designed to both inspire rider confidence as well as put the rider in the ideal position for control, the comfortable and natural position is suitable for a wide range of riders.

Rider Interface

Sporty windshield has three positions covering a total range of 60 mm. Sophisticated instrument design features a large analogue tachometer flanked by warning lamps on one side, and a gear position indicator and multi-function LCD screen on the other.

Low Seat Height

The combination of a low 790mm seat height and a slim chassis that makes it easy to reach the ground enables a wide range of riders to enjoy the Ninja 650 with confidence.

Power and Performance

Exciting Parallel Twin engine offers quick response, strong low-mid range performance and excellent fuel economy.  Liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve 649 cm3 Parallel Twin with fuel injection delivers smooth, responsive performance, especially in the low and medium rpm ranges. The strong low-end focus lends itself to sporty riding, but also translates to rider-friendly power characteristics that facilitate control and inspire confidence in new riders.

The Trellis Frame

One of the key components to realising the new Ninja 650’s lighter weight (noticeable as soon as the bike is lifted off its sidestand), the all-new frame weighs only 15 kg and contributes significantly to the bike’s light, nimble handling.
