Ducati Hypermotard 950 – Get Hyped
Fun has no limits – from 2019 Ducati Hypermotard has been significantly redesigned to bring the “motard” back to its formula. Exhilarating, naughty, fast, agile and more hooligan then ever. This bike is designed to bring out the child in all of us.
With the redesigned Testastretta 11° engine, task of providing maximum enjoyment and motard thrills is easier than ever. 114bhp engine makes 80% of its power available from as little as 3000 rpm. Making Hypermotard a sports bike slaying weapon on sharp twisty roads, cutting through traffic and narrow city roads with ease. And with 9000 rpm peak power, there is plenty of thrill to be had on the road and the track. The racing nature of this machine can be perfectly complimented with an optional quickshifter (available as standard on the SP model).
Keeping the beating heart of the Hypermotard 950 in check is the new and excellent 6 axis traction control system developed with Bosh. TCS (Traction Control System) works alongside with cornering ABS to provide the rider with total control over their machine. This beautifully and seamlessly integrates with the fully adjustable powermodes, commonplace amongst Ducati motorcycles.
Ducati redesigned the seating position for the rider, bringing it back in line with it’s Motard esteem. The seat is narrower allowing shorter riders to easily handle the bike, despite higher overall ground clearance. While the bike is more accessible with a more commanding, upright seating position. The latest model is a whopping 4kg lighter than the previous model, making it a breeze to operate and handle.
New Ducati Hypermotard 950 is unmistakingly Italian, its body has been redesigned to fit in line with its naughtier character. Redesigned front fender, LED daylight running lights and twin undertail silencers make sure this motorcycle will stand out from the crowd attracting attention and envy wherever it goes.
Despite the Hypermotard unique style and character, like all Ducati motorcycles it is a sophisticated machine brimming with latest technology, equipped with TFT 5” Colour display, bluetooth connectivity through new Ducati Link App and even supporting a USB charging socket.
This motorcycle is the bike to get if you want a solid, precise, rapid bike which will raise the heartbeat of the newer and more seasoned riders alike on weekend blasts, but is more than capable of reliable and effortless commuting

The new Hypermotard perfectly combines such distinctive features of the Hypermotard 1100 as minimalism, aggressiveness, lightweight look and a “fun-bike” image with the innovation and technology of Ducati’s latest generation models.
Fun to the Nth degree
The riding position has been thoroughly revised for the utmost riding fun and control. The new Hypermotard 950 sports a new, more open handlebar, narrower side profile and a new Hypermotard 950 seat, featuring a flat, extended profile and a moderate bulge in the passenger area for improved comfort. The SP version seat is flat, in line with the motard style, to facilitate shifting forward and backward on the seat while riding.
Ducati Testastretta 11°
The Hypermotard 950 family is equipped with a revised version of the 937 cu cm twin-cylinder Ducati Testastretta 11°. The twin-cylinder engine has been radically revised (and lightened by 1.5 kg). It outputs 4 more horsepower than its predecessor, achieving 114 hp at 9,000 rpm and a flat torque curve peaking at 9.8 kgm at 7,250 rpm.
Non-stop emotions
Thanks to Ducati’s constant attention to quality, the 937 cc Testastretta 11° engine allows optimal maintenance management: valve adjustment is scheduled every 30,000 km. (18,000 miles).
6-Axis Inertial Measurement Unit (6D IMU)
The Hypermotard 950 is equipped with modern, sophisticated electronics based on Bosch 6-axis inertial platform, which instantly detects the motorcycle roll, yaw and pitch angle in space.
Riding Mode
The Sport Riding Mode is suitable for sports-style riding on winding roads or on the track, and delivers the full 114 hp power delivery of the Ducati twin-cylinder engine according to the performance-oriented electronic setup.
The Touring Riding Mode is ideal for in-town and out-of-town outings and for those who prefer a neat, smooth ride. The 114 hp of the Ducati twin are delivered according to a more safety-oriented electronic setup.
The Urban Riding Mode is designed for everyday use in city traffic and under poor grip conditions, e.g. in the rain. That is why for twin-cylinder Testastretta this mode uses a XX hp power limit and its electronic settings are all oriented towards maximum safety.
