Shakey & Kawasaki Top BSB at Brands Hatch 2014
The BSB opening round of the 2014 season at Brands Hatch was certainly dominated by Kawasaki and one man in particular Mr 'Shakey' Byrne.
The BSB opening round of the 2014 season at Brands Hatch was certainly dominated by Kawasaki and one man in particular Mr 'Shakey' Byrne.
Shane Byrne, riding the Kawasaki ZX10R made a great start to the racing season getting the maximum 50 points to take the lead in the British Superbike Championship after doing the double at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit this bank holiday Monday.
Kawasaki GBmoto's James Ellison and Chris Walker finished the weekend in second and third respectively after two great races. Milwaukee Yamaha's Josh Brookes ended the weekend in fourth after a DNF in race one due to a crash, but came out fighting to claw back 20 points putting him even with Rapid Solicitor Kawasaki's Stuart Easton.
Congratulations to Shane and Kawasaki who had 6 bikes in the top 10 and with less than two weeks to Oulton Park on the next bank holiday 3/4/5 May it looks like its going to be a good year.
