The Kawasaki ER6n for 2013.....
We have an all new ER6n for 2013, which is much more than a facelift model. New frame, new swingarm and so it goes on. The finish needs to be seen to be believed. New fixings, new chain adjustment system......Come and test ride our Kawasaki ER6 demo to see for yourself.
Being expensive to buy, the press love it, it's inexpensive to maintain, low insurance group and very economical to run............. What's not to like??
The original Kawasaki ER6n was a bike that just kept on gaining in popularity year after year. From 2012 we have the all new ER6n with new styling, new chassis and better finishing. The bike journalists seem to love it.
What has changed and why?
In order to reduce vibration for the rider, the engine is rubber mounted. Normally, rubber mounting tends to give bikes a vague feeling but with the new more rigid frame and new swingarm this is far from the case. This new ER6n is sharper and more precise in its handling that ever before.
The new and easy to read dash ensures that the rider easily aware of the bikes performance whilst being able to concentrate on their surroundings. The briefest glimpse allows you to take it all in.
Although the engine is unchanged, the exhaust has been modified, as has the fuel injection mapping.
The ER6n engine has proven its worthiness over the past 3 years, wiith major valve clearance servicing only being due every 26,000 miles, the cost of ownership is kept to an absolute minimum.
The fuel delivery system still uses a highly efficient dual butterfly electronic fuel injection system. The first butterfly being controlled by you, the second by Kawasaki's clever little ECU that ensures smooth fuel/air delivery, thus smooth power delivery especially thanks to the re-mapping for the ER6n 2012 / 2013 model.
The Kawasaki ER6n continues to offer a sensible, comfortable riding position, the plush new seats offer even more luxury for both rider and pillion. The cutting edge handling capabilities of this machine defy the previous statement. Throw a leg over the new ER6n and you will want to bypass those "A" roads, get off the "B" roads and find the twisty country lanes where the true joy of this all new machine will be appreciated.
For those looking for a little more weather protection see the all new Kawasaki ER6f.
33 BHP restriction is available on request.
