Out of Shape?

Need to avail of our Motorcycle Frame Straightening Services ? - Don't worry, many frames are out of line. We straighten bike frames from the crate for many UK racers. In order to ascertain whether or not a bike frame is bent and to what degree it is bent or twisted, we mount the stripped chassis on the Jig. At this stage we are in a situation to proceed directly to the straightening process using the 16+ tonnes of ram pressure available to us. We are able to set frame geometry to more accurate levels than factory tolerance.It is for this reason that we straighten bikes "from the crate" for several of the British Superbike racing fraternity.

An essential part of motorcycle frame alignment is the ability to check for any fractures within the frame structure and if appropriate be able to remedy these.

No two bikes are crashed in the same way (unless you know better, and if you do, you should have learned the first time!!). It is impossible to quote a definitive price for frame straightening. If all goes well, nothing cracks, then a very rough guide is 2-4 hrs after setup, but again this can vary on the severity of the damage.

One thing we can tell you - we won't even start if we don't think that there is a hope and we will save you hundreds of pounds (if not over £1000) over the cost of a new frame and re-framing.

What do we need?

We need your bike stripped of bodywork, with nuts, bolts and screws that hold the front yoke in the bike loose for fast removal of the front end of the bike. DO NOT remove the engine or swing arm (a stressed frame may spring further out of shape if these are removed), and we need them in to measure and more so to allow us to put pressure on the frame. In the case of practically all modern bikes, engines are a stressed member of the frame.

We will gladly strip and rebuild your bike, but this labour has not been accounted for in the above price/time guide.
