The range of Puma motorcycle boots is an exciting addition to Seastar's collection. Puma who are already very well known in the sports footwear market stepped into the world of motorcycle racing and developed a brand new range of boots to suit every requirement from all out racing to the trainer lookalike short boots that can be worn all day off the bike without compromising safety. Puma have taken safety very seriously and with the aid of professionals in the area of medicine have developed a system now known as "Ghost Doctor" that envelopes the heel in a hard cased shell. Measurements were taken to see how far an ankle can be twisted sideways before bone breakage occurs. Limitation devices have been engineered within this Motorcycle boot in order to prevent any twisting to this degree. Rigidity is built in to the sole of all Puma motorcycle boots protecting both the arch and the metatarsals. Below please find some details and specifications of these. The new Hypersport 1000 motorcycle boot from Puma. Innovative design for this puma motorcycle boot makes it the easiest and safest boot to wear for all riders. The Puma Hypersport 1000 boot is comfortable and soft enough to walk around in and has no restriction of movement in any direction at all in normal walking and riding conditions - even to the extent of being able to twist the ankle slightly to get your knee down !! The reverse of this on the other hand is quite a remarkable ‘works when you need it’ safety device. The ’Ghost Doctor’ is a cushioned shock absorber around the heel, which absorbs impacts reducing ankle, shin and knee damage during a crash. The shin and calf protector is made to move with you whilst you walk but will stop at certain points ensuring the foot is never allowed to travel any further than comfortably possible and so only becomes restrictive at a dangerous angle. The bearings and pivots on this Puma motorcycle boot will stop the foot reaching any dangerous or painful positions but still allow full movement, therefore being the most comfortable but also safe.

Puma Urban Flat 2 Motorcycle Boot This is a very short motorcycle boot from Puma, which has the protection in the ankle, heel and toes but very little of the length with which standard motorcycle boots generally have. Thus it is very comfortable and easy to move around in and looks very much like a trainer. If you were to wear this with a pair of jeans you could easily blend into the background – Only the helmet will give you away as ‘The Biker’ - oh and maybe the bike....
